Week 19's 2-page spread turned out to be bright and cheerful - I love it! I got fun mail from Two Peas, had news about work (I don't include work very often - need to start doing that), went and saw Jurassic Park 3D, went to a graduation party, and celebrated Mother's Day.
Left Side: I love this week title card. The paper is from October Afternoon, one of my faves. I included cards from Blush and Jade. The 4x6 journaling card is the back of a card from Week 18. I really like being able to use both sides of a card!
I put this small card beside of an Instagram of my Two Peas happy mail. The We Are Memory Keepers 2" x4" cards are available at Target. I simply added the 'joy' word sticker.
Right Side: How adorable is that picture on the bottom left hand corner? I used that new app called A Beautiful Mess to embellish it. I can't get enough of that app!
Another 2" x4" WRMK card. I added an Amy Tangerine sticker on top of the journaling spot.
I put a slide from Crate Paper's 'The Pier' to highlight my hubby on his riding lawnmower.
I tried out using some sequins this week - I love how it looks!
Any tips for attaching sequins to a page? I used Alene's Tacky Glue but it was a little messy.
I'm linking up at the Mom Creative's Project Life Tuesday again.
I love reading each and every comment!
Looks like a fun and busy week! Great PL pages. Thanks for stopping by my blog!
ReplyDeleteThanks Sue! I found your blog via Two Peas
DeletePretty spread this week! Love all the colors. For the sequins I used I think glue dots the smallest ones or the blue tomboy bottle of glue. Love the frame out picture! I'll have to check out that App looks like a lot of fun
ReplyDeleteThanks Tina - the app is a lot of fun! Thanks for the tips, I'll try those glue options.
DeleteLove your colorful spread! Looks like you had a great week. I attach sequins with glossy accents. It is strong and dries pretty quickly.
ReplyDeleteThanks Madeline - I've been hearing a lot about Glossy Accents. I've never tried it, but plan to.
DeleteI use glossy accents for adding sequins.
ReplyDeleteSo intrigued by the CP slide!! And the 2"x4" WRMK cards… never would have thought to pair them w/a photo in a 4x6 slot.
ReplyDeleteI've seen sequins stapled on with the Tiny Attacher. I'm a fan of enamel dots, myself.
