I decided to do 1-page spreads for Week 39 and Week 40 this time. I didn't think I had enough to do a 2-page spread for each week. And of course, as I was making these two weeks, I felt like I was kind of squeezing it all onto one page. Ha! That's how it goes sometimes.
Week 39: back to work after vacation, beautiful flowers from my hubby, Oh Deer Me! embellishment kit arrived, and we ate at Mellow Mushroom.
I couldn't wait to go to Target and try on these silly foam Halloween hats!
I started making a fall wreath using Basic Grey's "Persimmon" line. I can't wait to show you - I love the colors in this collection!
Have you ever consolidated a usual 2-page spread down to 1 page? Did you feel cramped?
I love reading each and every comment! Be sure to keep up with me on Instagram, Pinterest, and
Fun page and how great is that Ohdeerme kit?! Looking forward to see how you use it!
ReplyDeleteI do love that kit... not sure what I will do with it all yet though!
DeleteGreat spread, love the hat photos :-)
ReplyDeleteThanks Danielle - trying on silly hats is "a thing" mu hubby and I always do to be silly. We have tons of pictures of us like that!
DeleteFun page, I think the bigger middle pockets help with cramming in the week. Love the hats you 2 are a fun couple
ReplyDeleteI think so too - and by taking advantage of a larger-than-normal journaling space, I was able to fit most of it in :)
DeleteLove those Halloween hats, great page :)
ReplyDeleteThanks Fleur! We had a lot of fun with that
DeleteI used to do one page weeks too but once I started doing I felt cramped too. Now I just keep it in 2 pages and do more white space or filler cards.
ReplyDeleteI like using filler cards too, and usually make 2 page spreads. But when I looked at how many pics I had for these 2 weeks, I figured it was gonna all be filler cards and about 3 pics. lol!
