30 Days of Thankful Days 1-16

I tried a new project this November - a traveler's notebook! Mom gave me one that she received in her Felicity Jane kit and it sat on my desk for many months. I finally decided to put it to use and I love how it turned out. I used a certain date stamp for each day, and dug through my stash to find labels to use most of the time. Quick and simple!!

December Daily Days 6-10

I've got some more December Daily pages to share today.

Day 6 is all about our recent trip to Orlando. We went to get us in the Christmas spirit! We drove down on Black Friday and spent 4 full days at Disney World and at Universal. We are pass holders are both parks. Universal did a lot more Christmas stuff this year, and we had never seen it before. We watched a Grinch show, a Macy's parade, and a Hogwarts castle show. We hadn't been to Disney during December in 5 years, so it was fun to see all the decorations again.

I put our Christmas card (first time doing a photo card) as a small insert between the pages. I added a little tab sticker from the main kit.

Mom and I went to a macrame workshop and learned some basic knots. We loved it! We went on Amazon and found the book recommended by the instructor and can't wait to make more.

Day 8 is about my new boho trees I got at Michael's! LOVE!

Day 9 is about the first snow we got this year. I love these Thickers and knew I wanted to use them as soon as I started making the page.

I cut a 4 3x4 page protector in half and added some extra photos.

A quick and simple Day 10 is about 10 things I'm loving this December.

December Daily Days 1-5

This year I purchased the main kit from Ali Edwards. I added some more papers, 3x4 cards, and stickers from my personal stash.

I love the 2x2 pages! It's so fun to fill up the squares with lots of different pieces from the kit (and my stash). I had to give that gold flecked "merry" cork piece a proper highlight!

I backed the 2x2 page with a leftover from last year's Calm & Bright set from Feed Your Craft.

Marie made these awesome December calendars again this year. I love the choices she gives and I centered my choice on a black and white MAMBI paper from my stash. I'll add more things to the calendar as the month goes along.

These big tags were included with my main kit because I was one of the first people to purchase it. I just added a couple of main kit embellishments.

I backed the tag with some super cute coffee cup scrapbook paper.

Day 1 was all about my holiday drink at Starbucks. My fave is the caramel brûlée latte. So good! My Starbucks didn't have any of the fun postcards or stickers that some people have found, so I grabbed a gift card. I always notice that Ali Edwards has a lot of see thru parts in her albums, and I love the airy quality that gives. I'm trying to be more conscious of that as I make my album this year.

Day 2 was spent rearranging my Pyrex display with Christmas colored dishes. I'm making it a priority to get more red pieces in 2018! Since I didn't have a lot, I supplemented with turquoise (got plenty of that!) and white dishes with turquoise color.

I was sick for a few days (just allergy/sinus junk) and spent a lot of time on the couch resting, watching TV, and reading. I trimmed a circular journaling card to fit into the middle of the wreath on the 6x8 page. It said "noel" and that didn't quite fit my page.

Day 4 - things we did in the morning, afternoon, and evening.

Day 5 - Mom and I went Christmas shopping. We forgot to take a picture, so I used a Snapchat pic we took on Thanksgiving.

I did some stamping and embossing before December started, and I'm looking forward to using these pieces throughout my album.

I was inspired by Ali's felt circles in the Product Play class, so I created my own using card stock and twine.

Europe - Paris extras

Wow, I am totally done with ALL of my Europe pages now. I don't think I've ever been finished with such a big trip so quickly - or scrapbooked so many pages from a trip. I love them all though!

I started with a page about our Paris hotel room:

Then I documented some of our random pictures from the trip. The front of this insert is about our trip to the Louvre.

On the back of the insert, I included a little envelope that Mom made (we got Europe spending money for Christmas), and some tickets from the Metro.

We had so many pictures from Notre Dame... it was hard to pick just a few!

Europe - Disneyland Paris

We spent an extra day in Paris just so we could go to Disneyland Paris. It's very small compared to Walt Disney World, but we're huge Disney fans and couldn't imagine skipping it.

I kept it simple and used the same core kit I've used throughout my Europe pages. I'll document bigger stories and make 12x12's for my Disney album.

Project Life 2017 - Weeks 21-30

I have more Project Life App layouts to show you today! I have a few 12x12's in between these app pages, and I've linked them for you. I love being able to add in 12x12's basically anywhere within this album. When I did physical PL, I had to plan for 12x12's so I had 2 to put back to back in the album. No more worrying about that!

Week 22 is on the left, and this layout is on the right.

I made this layout, cut it in half, and put it in between weeks 26 & 27. 

Week 28 is on the left side and this layout is on the right.

I cut week 30 down the middle and put it in a 6"x12" page protector so that I could add this layout beside it.

Grandfather Mountain

We've been talking about going to Grandfather Mountain for years and we finally made it. I used a new sketch from Simple Scrapper and made this page in about 45 minutes including picking out the paper (y'all, that is a major accomplishment for me! Choosing paper trips me up and slow me down big time).

I used the Echo Park "Just Be You" collection. I love the colors and all the little stickers that are included. I added some enamel dots and a flair button from Felicity Jane.
