I read Trail of Broken Wings by Sejal Badani this month. The book isn't *technially* set in India, but the characters are from India and often reference memories from their childhood... so I'm counting it for #10, a book set somehwere you've always wanted to visit. I liked the book a lot, but it deals with heavy subjects (family secrets, abuse, death). I've always wanted to visit India... especially now that I'm into yoga. Hope to visit one day.
Do you have any books picked out to read this fall?
I love reading each and every comment! Be sure to keep up with me on Instagram, Pinterest, and
You sure are making your way through your list, I so admire that. I haven't been reading much although a friend gave me one of those scrapbook mysteries. They are an easy enough read so just read it at work ;-)
ReplyDeleteI love reading at work on my lunch break!
DeleteGreat job with keeping up with your challenge, Emily! I fell off mine, so I'm just hoping to read a little more before the year is out. I've started Station Eleven thanks to you, now I just need to finish it. :)
ReplyDeleteThanks, Elise! I'm not sure I'm going to get to 26, but we'll see!
