I finally caved and bought one of those Heidi Swapp Marquee Letters from Michael's. I was in the store when all the supplies were 50% off and couldn't resist any longer!
I made this one for my Mom for her birthday. I love the pink glittery washi I got for the inside of the "B" - when the light is on, it really helps brighten it even more!
I used the provided letter template to trace and cut out scrapbook paper from Pink Paislee's "Bella Rouge" line. It was perfect for the washi tapes I got.
Have you made a marquee letter yet?
I love reading each and every comment! Be sure to keep up with me on Instagram, Pinterest, and
Super Cute!!! I just might have to get some marquee letters and make one for my daughter. Love this!!
ReplyDeleteI bought an E for myself too - can't wait to decorate it.
DeleteLooks so cute, Emily!
ReplyDeleteThanks, Elise!!
DeleteOh, so cute!! Love the colors you picked!
ReplyDeleteI was starting to doubt the washi I picked - and then I remembered the Bella Rouge paper pack - so perfect!
DeleteI bought an S for myself, but haven’t done anything with it yet. This inspires me to get busy and decorate it! Love the way yours turned out!! =)
ReplyDeleteYay! Thanks Shana! Hope you get to do yours soon.
DeleteSo very pretty and what a great bargain at 50% off. I made marquee letters but I bought the metal letters than had my dh drill holes in them for the lights. Right after TC came out with hers and I did a palm to forehead!. Much easier to use those paper ones and more fun I am sure. Your mom is going to love hers.
ReplyDeleteI couldn't resist that price! Lol - and I love the look, but don't want to fool with drilling holes. She did love it!
