Europe - London extras
Wednesday, September 20, 2017
I finished up all of my pages about London. First up was this layout about our hotel:
Next, I made a layout about riding around on a double decker bus. I made a 6"x12" insert about our trip to Hamley's, a toy store that has been in business for over 250 years (!!) and included some money in one pocket.
On the back of the insert, I added this fun postcard I bought and some pictures of the Tower Bridge. I used some of our favorite pictures on the 12"x12" about the Tower of London. This was our favorite thing we did in London!

Bon Appetit
Monday, September 18, 2017
Mom and I went to the Duluth, Georgia Scrapbooking Expo. Our hotel's breakfast just didn't seem appetizing, so we lucked up and found an amazing breakfast place nearby! I was inspired by Jen Schow's video about using 6"x6" papers and couldn't wait to try this technique!
I love these Thickers - they're so pretty!

Project Life 2017 - Weeks 1-10
Friday, September 15, 2017
So maybe you've been wondering how Project Life 2017 has been going. Earlier this year, I mentioned that I had big plans to make a weekly page in the PL App, then print and embellish them. I have found that I'm not so interested in embellishing them afterwards though... but I love the freedom the app gives me! The app make sit quick and easy to document our life, and frees up time for me to work on 12x12 layouts or other projects. There's no way I would be done with all the Europe pages I've made if I hadn't been using the app for my weekly layouts.
I added just a few embellishments to the first few weeks (mostly clear stickers, chipboard, and flair), but left many weeks un-embellished.
I'm including things we do, errands I run, books I read, etc. to my weekly layouts.
Week 5 was the first week I didn't add anything to the pages - I must admit, I like the clean look!
Week 7 sits on the right side of my album, and this layout is on the left.
I'm not quite ready to give up all my physical PL products, but it could happen one day. Have you used the app?

Dole Whip
Wednesday, September 6, 2017
Another Disney layout! I've decided to make a Disney album and just include random pictures from our trips. I don't want to re-document (is that a word?) because I have already covered our trips in my yearly Project Life albums. I'm dividing the album up into the 4 parks at Disney World (and will add other sections as needed, like Disneyland Paris or Disneyland and California Adventure).
Paper Issues had a Scraplift Sunday in July and I used it to document our love for Dole Whips.
I used this pineapple stamp from Concord and 9th for an embellishment. I was reminded of why I should always by the die to cut out stamps (they're so dang expensive though!!)
Purple, lime green, turquoise, black and white - with an accent of gold - turned out to be a good color combo for this layout. The background paper is from an older Amy Tangerine collection and the rest are just scraps.

Wild and Free
Tuesday, September 5, 2017
This is the first page in the Animal Kingdom section of my Disney album! This is my favorite area of Animal Kingdom and I always want to stop and take a picture. I was in Michael's the other night and their specialty 12x12 paper was on sale. When I saw this elephant paper, I knew exactly which photo I wanted to use with it.
This title is a rub-on that I got at Michael's a while back.
These wood flowers are also from Michael's. I think they were part of that boho collection.
What's your favorite spot in Animal Kingdom?

December 2016 Project Life
Friday, September 1, 2017
I did a very, very simple page for December. In 2016, I completed a December Daily and didn't see any reason to redo that in Project Life album. I basically hit the highlights and am calling it DONE!
