Week 30 - This was the week we traveled to Washington, DC for a pharmacy convention. I used the new Heidi Swapp PL kit called "Dreamy" for this layout. It is gorgeous! I didn't need to add many embellishments other than gold MAMBI stickers (of course, right?)
Left side: the hotel, the Air & Space Annex museum, the U.S. Botanic Gardens, the National Museum of the American Indian, and the Capital Wheel.
Right side: a breakfast selfie with our giant name tags, Joe right after winning big at the Closing Session, the hotel atrium, and a great Mexican restaurant.

I kept all the museum maps and our name tag flair, but didn't incorporate them directly into the layout. I used a new (to me) technique and created an insert for these ephemera.
This is a 4-pocket 8.5x11 insert. I slit the bottom of the top pocket so the map could go through it:
Then inserted the map into the bottom pocket. That way you can see the whole thing!
